HIGH WINDS CHALLENGE SAILORS ALL DAY
The second day of the #zoomworlds2013 taking place in the Norwegian west coast saw the already high winds in the morning gaining strength all day. The average winds were at 10-12 m/s, even up to 14 m/s. Yesterdays best sailors were still battling their way to the top, but many new names rose to challenge the first days winners. More windy conditions expected tomorrow at the Day3.
The three winners in the mens individual starts were today: Race 3: Anders Brandi Yde DEN-221, Race 4: Jakob Flachberger AUT-64 Race 5: David Bjelkarøy Westervik NOR-163. The best three after 5 races: 1. David Bjelkarøy Westervik NOR-163, 2. Marius Dyhr Petersen NOR-203, 3. Anders Brandi Yde DEN-221.
The three winners in the womens individual starts were today: Race 3: Sophie Heil
AUT-64, Race 4: Lotta Handmark SWE-171 Race 5: Emilie Homstvedt NOR-117. The best three after 5 races: 1. Catharina Sandman FIN-650, 2. Sara Lyngborg Pedersen
