Askøy Seilforening
Our neighbour yacht club - see map here - can offer rooms and beds in smaller fishermans houses and bedrooms in their brand new service building. There is also an option of flatbeds/matresses for children on a loft in the service building.

Option 1:
Room in the service building for 200 NOK per person, minimum lease of 400 NOK. Cleaning: 200 NOK per room (hirer has to leave the room reasonable tidy). Every room has a shower and a toilet. There are 7 rooms with 4-6 beds each. There is a common living room with a small tea kitchen (no option of cooking or frying food). In the same building there is also a large meeting room with capacity of 100 people, usage of this room has to be agreed separately. Access to wardrobes in the new service building and in the old club house.

Option 2.
Hiring fishermens houses with 4-6 beds in rooms and on loft. Living room with kitchen and bathroom with shower and toilet. Porch outside. Prices: 250 NOK per night, minimum lease of 500 NOK (equivalent of two persons). Cleaning: 200 NOK per fishermens house (hirer has to leave the room reasonable tidy). Access to wardrobes in the new service building and in the old club house.

Askøy Seilforening can also offer the older club house with kitchen. Hiring price not ready yet.

Cars, trailors and boats can be placed at sea and at land for free.

Driving distance to Ran race harbour: 25 minutes by car, 3,5 nautical miles to race harbour by boat and 1,7 nautical miles to race area 1 & 2.

Camping area


Driving distance to Ran race harbour: 2,1 kilometer, 5 minutes by car and 0,5 nautical miles to race harbour by boat.
Costs:
Tent: 50 NOK per night
Camping wagon/motorhome: 100 NOK per night
There will be electric power and toilets available.
Shower fascilities can be used in the club house in the regatta harbour.

Grendahuset - low budget accomodations for sailors and coaches

We have an low-budget alternative for those who will accept to sleep on mattresses on the floor:

In 15 minutes walking distance from the sailing club, we have rented the local community’s house, where there are following facilities:
- Open space of approx 100 m2
- Chairs and tables
- Kitchen
- Toilets
This house has a good standard.





Price: 100 Norwegian Kroner pr person pr day, including cleaning of the facilities when WC is finished. Everybody must keep the area tidy every day.
