Facts found:

The original race committee vessel (RVC) started drifting.

The Race Committee removed all other flags from the RCV and sent a 5-6 meter long VSR rib with flags AP, A and a Blue flag approximately to the original position of the RCV.

The flags were very close to each other with Blue flag hidden behind and next to the A flag.

NOR 157 and NOR 153 did not see the Blue flag on the rib and sailed on the wrong side of the rib towards the original RCV.

The race was not close between the boats, and the order of the boats was very clear. The RC noted the order of the boats coming through the finish line and on the other side. All boats left the original RCV on the correct side, when sailing towards the harbour.

Conclusion: RC made an error in signaling the finish line and replacing the original signaling vessel in an unclear fashion.

Decision: In Race 8, NOR 157 and NOR 153 are to be scored by slotting them in their right place as if they would have crossed the line correctly.
