Facts found:

Approxt 14 kn wind, moderate waves.

On the first windward leg HUN 1150 was sailing on starboard and NOR 152 on port.

Boats were on converging courses.

At approximately 1,5 meters from the starboard side of NOR 152, HUN 1150 bore away and sailed astern of NOR 152. The gap between the boats was less than 1 meter.

There was no contact between the boats.

No boat took a penalty turn.

Conclusion:
NOR 152 failed to keep clear as the port boat and broke RRS 10. (See also Case 50).

Decision:
NOR 152 DSQ in race 6.
